Strategy Session
Frequently Asked Questions
To start working with Purple Fox Legal, you just need to schedule a strategy session on our contact page.
-
Once you have scheduled a strategy session, you need to complete our potential client intake form for your company. The potential client intake form allows us to get to know your company better before your first strategy session.
You can schedule a strategy session on our contact page.Â
A strategy session is a paid meeting when we discuss your company's business and legal needs.
-
After we receive your completed potential client intake form (at least 5 days before your scheduled strategy session), we will send you an agenda outlining the topics to be discussed during your strategy session.Â
The types of businesses that will get the most benefit from our services are those with at least one full-time employee and at least $100,000 (USD) in annual revenue.
For your first strategy session, be sure to bring a copy of your business plan or business model canvas. We will review how your company operates during part of your initial strategy session.
-
Also, review the agenda sent to you a few days before your scheduled strategy session for anything else that may be required.
After your company's strategy session, you will have additional clarity about the tasks you should prioritize and how to better mitigate your company from legal risks.
-
Keep in mind that legal compliance and risk mitigation is not a one and done solution, but rather, a continuous process that needs to be refined and reevaluated to prevent expensive problems from happening.
-
During our discussions during your company's strategy sessions, you may realize that your company needs legal services and deliverables beyond strategy sessions. That is expected and we are more than happy to assist your company with those needs.
-
Once we determine the scope of the deliverables needed, we can send you a customized quote (in a representation and fee agreement) so that you know the costs ahead of time and can accurately manage your company's cash flow.
-
We also recommend recurring monthly strategy sessions for growing companies, but the meeting frequency is ultimately up to you.Â
Things happen, and we understand that. We just ask that you let us know if you can't make it and reschedule using the reschedule link provided on your calendar invite that was emailed to you.
-
Keep in mind that if you need to reschedule, you must reschedule your strategy session using the reschedule link provided on your calendar invite before your original appointment begins.
-
For more information about our cancellation and rescheduling policy, please read our terms of use.
Yes, we can provide customized quotes (in representation and fee agreements) for specific deliverables and legal services.
-
We also may be able to offer litigation services for your company depending on a number of factors. Before determining whether Purple Fox Legal can assist your company with any dispute, we must complete a thorough conflict of interest check to ensure we uphold the ethical and moral responsibilities we hold ourselves to.
-
Due to the number of considerations we must take into account, we cannot guarantee that we will represent your company in any dispute and we must determine this on a case by case basis.

How Our Process Works
- SCHEDULE AN INITIAL STRATEGY SESSION
When someone wants to work with us, we follow a series of steps to ensure it’s a good fit. The first step to working with us is to schedule your company’s initial strategy session on our contact page.
- COMPLETE INTAKE FORM
Once you have scheduled your company’s initial strategy session, you must complete our potential client intake form. The information from this form will help us gauge what parts of your business you are comfortable with and which parts of your company you may have some concerns about.
- PREPARE FOR INITIAL STRATEGY SESSION
Before your company’s initial strategy session, you should take the time to read some of our blog articles and ebooks. Not only will you be more informed about your business and legal needs, but you will also get the opportunity to ask us more questions specific to your circumstances during your company’s initial strategy session.
- READ THE AGENDA FOR YOUR STRATEGY SESSION
A few days before your company’s scheduled strategy session (and after we receive your completed potential client intake form), you will receive an agenda outlining the topics to be discussed. In our experience, more can be accomplished by adhering to meeting agendas with time limitations rather than having off-the-cuff discussions.Â
- ATTEND YOUR STRATEGY SESSION
After you have completed our potential client intake form, read some of our blog articles and ebooks, and reviewed the agenda, the next step is to attend your company’s strategy session. While we will be adhering to the agenda, you are welcome to ask questions related to the particular topics we will cover. However, keep in mind that we may not be able to answer some of these questions right away. For example, if you are seeking a specific legal answer that would require us to conduct legal research outside of a strategy session, we can create a customized quote for your specific deliverable.
- ACT ON RECOMMENDATIONS
Following your company’s strategy session, you will have additional clarity about the tasks you should prioritize and how to better mitigate your company from legal risks. Keep in mind that legal compliance and risk mitigation is not a one and done solution, but rather, a continuous process that needs to be refined and reevaluated to prevent expensive problems from happening. It is important to remember that continuous improvement will allow you to build a solid foundation that insulates your company from risks and provides the conditions for sustainable growth.
- REQUEST DELIVERABLES
During our discussions during your company’s strategy sessions, you may realize that your company needs legal services and deliverables beyond strategy sessions. That is expected and we are more than happy to assist your company with those needs. Once we determine the scope of the deliverables needed, we can send you a customized quote (in a representation and fee agreement) so that you know the costs ahead of time and can accurately manage your company’s cash flow.
- SCHEDULE FOLLOW UP STRATEGY SESSIONS
After your initial strategy session, we know you will realize the benefits and come back for more. We recommend monthly strategy sessions for growing companies, but the meeting frequency is ultimately up to you.Â
